For me, Copy and Restoration is one of the most satisfying jobs of photography. I've been able to save photographs that were stuck to glass, torn, faded, etc. To see the face of a mother when she saw the restored color photographs of her deceased children. Another restoration was for a man who lost his parents in a concentration camp. I was able to combine his parents battered photos into one restored photograph. The stories are endless and the satisfaction of being able bring life back into these photographs can't be measured.

Since 1993, I have been able restore photographs that were impossible 10 years ago. With digital equipment, I'm able to salvage images from tintypes that are almost black, combine images and bring back color in some photographs. Digital tools have opened up new and exciting avenues for saving your photographs.
